Dan and I accidentally
ran into a couple other WI game wardens we
knew well hunting with a SD warden on the
same ranch we still hunt to this day. That
was several years back. We joined up with
them for one hunt in spite of the guff I
took for the poodle. All the yelling,
whistle blowing, and swearing at their two
labs and a pointer trying to keep them under
control scared every rooster within 2 miles
out of the state. None of us got a shot.
After that they went their own way and we
ours. Our hunt immediately improved. Beau
and Scout seldom stray more then 30 yards
out.
